Most of our designs are created and produced right here in Sitka by our own staff. As often as possible, we incorporate our own bears into our designs.
As a non-profit 501(c) 3, we truly appreciate your support. All proceeds are used to help care for our bears and improve our facilities.

In Fortress of the Bear’s earlier days, we were honored to receive a very special donation - a formline bear design by Lingít Master Carver, Tommy Joseph. We have recently revisited this design, and with Tommy’s permission, developed and updated it to create an exclusive collection of products, honoring the local indigenous art style.
